SOLE BY SOUL Changing lives, one sole at a time......
Mission Statement: My ultimate goal is to share the love of Jesus while providing shoes for comfort and protection to children in the poorest parts of Romania while changing lives physically and eternally one Sole by Soul.
In 1992 Tom Unici ask Adrian Jones to return to the Country of Romania in which he and his wife Maria had escaped from in 1981 while under Communist Rule. They traveled to the Unici's home Village of Moldova Veche while there the people of His Village ask if their brothers and sisters in Christ in America could help with finances to construct a New Church for them to worship. After returning to America the task begin to raise money for this much needed Church in the village of Moldova Veche. Little did anyone know that that decision would lead to Sole by Soul although it would be almost a decade before the vision of the ministry came. In 2001, Reita Koon, Christian artist/singer and Sole by Soul founder, was ask to lend her vocals to revival services held during the construction of the church. While on that journey to Moldova Veche, Romania for the construction of the church, Reita made her first trip to the orphanages in Romania. From that time on she continued to return to Romania doing mission work in small village orphanages and hospitals. In April 2011, Reita made a mission trip along with several others led by Brother Mac Walls to some of the poorest parts of Romania and it was there that Sole by Soul became a vision. Traveling to a village on the coldest day of the trip and wearing three pairs of socks to keep warm, her heart was forever changed as children ran barefoot and cold on the dirt roads to meet her and the others on the team. It was then that the calling for this ministry began. Praying for God to show her a way to make a difference in the lives of the Romanian children, she made the life changing decision to launch Sole by Soul and provide shoes for these children.

Ministry Goals: To date, the mission team has focused on Romania but has plans to branch out to other countries where there are also children in need. A trip is planned in early summer to sha,re the gospel and continue the efforts of providing to these precious children.
